  1. SIGARRA
  2. What is SIGARRA?
    SIGARRA (Sistema de Informação para a Gestão Agregada dos Recursos e dos Registos Académicos - Information System for the Aggregate Management of Academic Resources and Records) is an integrated web-based student and human resources management system run by UPdigital.

    How can I get my login details?
    You should go to the IT Service, in Room 0.13, at the timetable shown on the IT Service homepage, in the possession of an identification document (e.g. Student Card, Citizen Card).

    How do I access my personal page?
    After authentication, click on your name at the top (right-hand side) of the page

    How do I change my personal information on SIGARRA?
    After accessing your personal file (see previous topic), select the ‘Configure’ option in the ‘Administration’ menu on the right-hand side of the page.

    How can I change my password?
    You must change your password at the following address: https://self-id.up.pt/password.

    I've lost my password. How do I recover it?
    You can recover your password at https://self-id.up.pt/reset. To recover your password via this link, you must have confirmed your personal data in SIGARRA.

    How do I access the course documents?
    In the left-hand menu, select the ‘Courses’ option and choose your course. Then open the Programme of Study and choose the discipline you want.

  3. Webmail
  4. Do I have a FDUP e-mail address?
    Yes. The address follows the format upXXXXXXXXX@edu.direito.up.pt.

    How can I get my login details?
    You must use the same credentials to access SIGARRA.

    How do I check my webmail?
    You can access Webmail at https://webmail.edu.up.pt (students) or https://webmail.up.pt (staff) by entering your username and password. On the login page, in the account field, enter your username as upXXXXXXXXX@up.pt.

    I've lost my password. How do I recover it?
    You can recover your password at https://self-id.up.pt/reset. To recover your password via this link, you must have validated your personal data at SIGARRA.

    How can I log in to webmail?
    You must log in to the webmail by entering your user name as up[123456789]@up.pt.
    The password used in Webmail is the same as the one used to access SIGARRA.

    What is the storage quota of the mailbox?
    The students mailbox has a quota of 100 GB.
    The staff mailbox has a quota of 15 GB.

    What kind of protection is in place for FDUP email?
    All email is scanned by an antivirus and unsolicited advertising is flagged as SPAM.

  6. Do I have access to the FDUP wireless network?
    Yes. All students and teachers at higher education institutions that are part of the e-U/Eduroam project have access to the wireless network.

    How can I get my login details?
    You must use the same credentials to access SIGARRA.

    How do I set up access?
    The entire configuration process is available at FDUP / Wireless.

    I can't configure the Wi-Fi. What should I do?
    You should go to the IT Service, at Room 0.13, at the time shown on the IT Service homepage, with your identity document (e.g. Student Card, Citizen Card).

  8. Do I have access to the FDUP VPN service?
    Yes, all FDUP students and teachers have access to the VPN service.

    How can I get my login details?
    You must use the same credentials to access SIGARRA.

    How do I set up the access?

  10. How do I print a document at FDUP?
    Printing, copying and scanning are available on a self-service basis. Access is only allowed to users who have sufficient printing quota to carry out the work. The printing service has its own website (https://print.up.pt) where users can log in to check their details and change their PIN.

    What is my printing quota?
    Each student has an initial quota of ¤3.

    How can I buy more printing credits?
    On your SIGARRA personal page, in the ‘’Printing‘’ option, you can generate references to top up your printing balance.

    How can I get further information?
    You can find more information on this subject at https://www.up.pt/portal/en/updigital/services/printing/service/ .
